long time no blog

I guess I just haven't had a lot to say...or maybe it all just seemed to insignificant to blog about...either way...things have been good...and bad...refreshing...and tiring...pleasant...and painful...life has been everything it can be the past month or so.

some things going on:

allergies are starting...I hate allergies...
it's been over 90 degrees the past 2 days...I hate the heat...
we have experienced community more in the past week than I have in my entire life
we took a huge step forward as a community by working like dogs together all day saturday getting the barn cleaned out and in a usable state...the dream of having a place to "be" is beginning to happen
after working so hard together we went out and enjoyed great food and drinks at easy street cafe'...nice
the band has decided to move forward in being a band...practicing regularly again...pursuing gigs...recording more etc...I've missed that
Sara is still my best friend after 10 years of marriage...she knows me like no one on this planet and she believes in me...that is huge...
Macee is becoming more and more of a joy to us both
simple church in our home is becoming everything we thought it could be...
we love our neighbors
we are having a "kick off the summer" party on June 24th from 4:00pm-???...we will have food, live band, lawn games, trampoline, great times...just bring a lawn chair and your favorite beverage. If you're reading this consider yourself invited...we've been wanting to do this for some time now and it just seems like now is the time to really do it...
